Privacy Policy — Love Grid

1. Who we are

The mobile game Love Grid ("the App") is developed and published by:

For the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679, "GDPR") and the Croatian Data Protection Implementation Act, Idea Verum is the data controller of your personal data in the context of using the App.

2. What data we process and why

2.1 Anonymous user profile and game progress

When you first launch the App, an anonymous user identifier is automatically created through Firebase Authentication. This identifier is not linked to your name, email address, phone number, or your Apple/Google account.

Together with the anonymous identifier, we store:

• progress through levels and categories (completed levels, unlocked advice cards);
• in-game hearts and coins balance;
• App settings (language, sound, vibration, advice preference);
• daily reward counters (e.g., daily login reward, daily ad-unlocks of advice cards).

This data is stored locally on your device and in Cloud Firestore (Google Ireland Limited) for synchronization and progress retention.

Lawful basis: Our legitimate interest in providing core App functionality (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

2.2 Analytics data

Through Google Analytics for Firebase we collect aggregate usage data, including:

• started and completed levels, advice unlocks, ad views;
• device model, operating system version, App version;
• language settings and region (country level);
• pseudonymous installation identifier (Firebase Installation ID).

We do not collect your name, email, contacts, or precise location.

Lawful basis: Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) — understanding usage and improving the App.

2.3 Crash reports

Through Firebase Crashlytics we collect diagnostic data when the App crashes:

• technical error description (stack trace);
• device model, OS version, App version;
• device state at the moment of the crash (memory, free storage);
• pseudonymous installation identifier.

Lawful basis: Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) — bug fixing and App security.

2.4 Ads (Google AdMob)

The App displays rewarded and interstitial ads through Google AdMob (Google Ireland Limited). When showing ads, Google may process:

• your device advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID);
• IP address and approximate location (city/region level);
• ad interaction and fraud-prevention signals.

The App is configured to serve only non-personalized ads to users in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, and Switzerland. Non-personalized ads do not use past user behavior for targeting, but Google still uses limited data (e.g., IP address, context) for ad measurement and fraud prevention.

You can reset your advertising identifier in your device settings (Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads).

Lawful basis: Legitimate interest (measurement, fraud prevention, funding the free App).

2.5 What we DO NOT collect

The App does not access or collect:

• your name, email, or phone number;
• your contacts, calendar, photos, files, or messages;
• your precise (GPS) location;
• microphone, camera, or biometric data.

3. Third parties (data processors)

The following third parties process data on our behalf as processors:

Google may transfer data to the United States. Transfers are covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and Google's certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

We do not sell your data to third parties and do not share it for marketing purposes outside the listed processors.

4. Retention periods

• Anonymous profile and game progress: until you trigger "Reset progress" in the App, or until you uninstall the App and request deletion of the cloud copy.
• Analytics data: up to 14 months in Firebase Analytics.
• Crashlytics reports: up to 90 days.
• AdMob data: per Google's policies (typically 60–90 days for interaction data, up to 13 months for aggregates).

5. Security

Communication with Firebase and AdMob services is always encrypted via TLS. Data stored in Cloud Firestore is protected by Google's security mechanisms. Data on your device is protected by your operating system's security mechanisms.

6. Your rights under GDPR

You have the following rights:

• Right of access (Art. 15) — to receive confirmation whether and which of your data we process;
• Right to rectification (Art. 16);
• Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten", Art. 17);
• Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18);
• Right to data portability (Art. 20);
• Right to object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21);
• Right to lodge a complaint with the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP), Selska cesta 136, 10000 Zagreb, www.azop.hr, or with the supervisory authority in your country of residence.

To exercise your rights, contact us at info@ideaverum.hr. Since your profile is anonymous, please include enough information in your request (e.g., approximate date you first launched the game, device model, language) so we can identify your profile.

Easiest way to delete data: in the App, open Settings → Reset progress, which deletes local data. To fully delete the cloud copy, send a request to info@ideaverum.hr.

7. Children

The App is rated PEGI 12+ and is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If as a parent or guardian you become aware that a child under 13 has used the App, please contact us so we can delete their data.

8. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of the page reflects the latest version. We will announce material changes inside the App.
